Tapestry

This particular painting was a joint venture, it was first painted by a faux artist, after which I came in to add the mural. Walls under stairs can sometimes be difficult to decorate, making them great areas for murals. With this particular wall we decided to create a custom tapestry that looks as though it was cut and designed just for this space. This is most effective because of the addition of the rope which is done in the trompe l'oeil style.
